Clarence Drive road works – project update

By 11 December 2023 repairs to Clarence Drive had progressed to the point that one-way traffic could be accommodated. However, several restrictions remains in place for reasons of public safety. 6 stop-and-go points on Clarence Drive and one at Palmiet Bridge, brings it to a total of 7 stop-and-go points between Gordon’s Bay and Kleinmond.

Although initial projections indicated that the project would be completed during Quarter 1 of 2024, the project is now envisaged to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2024.
